 Buffalo, NY – At the May, 2012 General Membership meeting of the Commercial Collection Agency Association (CCAA), Robert (Bob) M. Tharnish, Vice President, International and Corporate Quality, of ABC-Amega Inc. was formally installed as the new Executive Council Chair.
Bob was elected by the CCAA membership and began his 2-year term at the Chicago Commercial Law League of America (CLLA) in early May this year. The Executive Council selects members for the four CCAA committees: legislative, education, marketing and relations with law lists. Along with the committees, the Council works to elevate standards within the commercial collections industry.
As Chair of the CCAA Executive Council, Bob, along with the CCAA Executive Director Annette Waggoner, acts as the CCAA’s main liaison to the Commercial Law League of America.

Bob Tharnish is responsible for working with all departments of ABC-Amega to ensure processes and systems meet client needs and expectations. In addition, he monitors the performance of our worldwide affiliate attorney and agency network to ensure that they meet the rigorous standards required by our clients and ABC-Amega. Bob also handles an International commercial collection desk.
The Commercial Collection Agency Association (CCAA) has more than 200 members. Its core membership group, of over one hundred commercial collection agencies, represents the most prestigious commercial collection agencies in the United States. The CCAA works to elevate the standards of the commercial collections industry by providing educational, legislative, promotional and administrative services to its members. The Commercial Collection Agency Association is overseen by the Board of Governors of the Commercial Law League of America.
